How do I connect an AI employee to Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook?
The process of connecting an AI employee to messengers and social networks depends on the specific platform: some channels are set up independently, while others are set up through customer support.
- Telegram (self-setup): This channel is fully automated and is configured in Self-Service mode.
- Creating a bot: Using @BotFather in Telegram, create a new bot and get its API Token.
- Linking in your account: Go to Integrations → Telegram, paste the token you received into the corresponding field, and click "Save".
- Activation: For the employee to start working, find the bot you created in Telegram and send it the
/startcommand.
- WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook: Integration with these platforms is currently carried out with the help of the technical support service.
- Request: Send an email to support@binomai.com.
- Details: In the email, specify which social networks or messengers you want to connect and briefly describe the working scenario (for example, sales or customer support).
- Setup: Specialists will provide technical instructions and, if necessary, involve technical partners to complete the integration.
Key benefits of multichannel support: Regardless of how you connect, all messages from Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook will automatically arrive in a single window in the Chats section. The AI employee will use a shared knowledge base and a unified response logic for all channels at the same time, ensuring consistent service quality.

The Binom chatbot connects to Telegram, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, as well as YouTube and Gmail, on its own, in the "Integrations" section, without a programmer. The same Binom responds in all channels based on a shared knowledge base, and all conversations are collected in the "Chats" section.

What you need for any channel
- A plan with integrations. Messengers cannot be connected on the free Free plan (Free plan limits). If the channel card is grey and marked "Not available on your plan", hover over it: the tooltip will name the required plan. How to upgrade is described below.
- Owner or Admin rights for the selected Binom. Without them, the "Integrations" section shows "You do not have permission to manage this section" – team access levels.
How to upgrade to the required plan:
- Find out which plan you need: in the Integrations section, hover over the grey card. The tooltip "Upgrade to the … plan" will name the most affordable plan that includes the required channel. For a comparison of the Free, Basic, Pro and Business plans, see how much Binom AI costs.
- Open Subscription. If you are on the free plan, click "Choose plan"; if you are on a paid plan, click "Compare plans".
- Select a plan and billing period (monthly, every 3 months or annually) and click "Confirm and pay". The payment page will open.
- After payment, the message "Subscription payment successful!" will appear. Return to Integrations: the card will be marked "Available".
Want to try it first? The 7-day trial period includes the features of the Basic plan: how to subscribe or start a trial period. If "Payment was not completed. Your plan has not changed" appears after payment, try paying again or write to support@binomai.com, including your account email and the selected plan.
How multichannel works
Binom uses one knowledge base and one catalog across all channels, so a customer gets the same answers in Telegram, Instagram, and on your website. All conversations appear in the Chats section, where you can filter them by source and bring in a manager when needed: how to manage conversations in one unified inbox.
If the channel you need isn't available
The Integrations section has "More integrations" with a catalog of other services. If an integration isn't available there, you can request it with the "Request integration" button. If you still have questions, write to support@binomai.com and tell us which channel you need and what for (sales or support).
