How to automatically generate personalized QR codes for products from a price list and how to use them for sales in offline points?

To automatically generate and use QR codes in offline locations, follow these steps:

  • Automatic generation: The Binom AI system automatically creates a personalized QR code for each item immediately after uploading the price list via any method (CSV, RSS/XML, or Google Merchant). Each code is strictly tied to a Product ID.
  • Data export: After processing the catalog, you can export the price list along with the generated QR codes ready for printing.
  • Offline placement: QR codes can be placed on price tags, packaging, shop windows, restaurant tables, or exhibition equipment.
  • Contextual consultation: When a client scans the code, they land on a public page of the AI employee who already knows which product is being discussed thanks to the passed Product ID.
  • Specialized role: For sales floors, a dedicated Shelf Talker role is provided, specifically trained to consult on specific items, check availability, and suggest alternatives directly "at the shelf".
  • Result: Every physical product gets a personal digital consultant working 24/7 in any language.

To automatically generate and use QR codes at offline points, follow these steps:

  • Automatic generation: Binom AI automatically creates a unique QR code for each item right after you upload a price list by any method (CSV, RSS/XML, or Google Merchant).. Each code is permanently linked to the Product ID.
  • Data export: After the catalog is processed, you can export the price list together with the generated QR codes for printing.
  • Offline placement: QR codes can be placed on price tags, packaging, shop windows, restaurant tables, or exhibition equipment.
  • Contextual consultation: When a customer scans a code, they land on the public page of an AI employee that already knows which product they are asking about, thanks to the Product ID passed along.
  • Specialized role: For work on the sales floor, there is a Shelf Talker role, trained to advise on specific items, check availability, and suggest alternatives right at the shelf.
  • Result: Every physical product gets a personal digital consultant that works 24/7 in any language.

Where to find a product's QR code

  1. Open Price Lists and find the product in the Products table.
  2. In the product row menu, select Edit.
  3. The product window shows its QR code, an image you can save and print.

How to download QR codes for printing

  1. In Price Lists, in the Products table, check the products that need QR codes, or select all.
  2. Open the actions menu for the selected products.
  3. Select Download QR codes to get the code images for printing, or Download CSV with QR codes to get a product table with links to their QR codes.
  4. Print the codes and place them on price tags, packaging, or the shelf next to the matching product.

How to check a QR code before printing

Scan the code with your phone camera: a chat with Binom will open. Ask about the product, and Binom should answer about that exact product. If the answer is about a different product, check the Product ID in the price list: how the AI employee determines which product the customer is viewing.
