What happens to AI employee settings and the knowledge base if I pause my subscription payment temporarily?

If you temporarily pause your subscription payment, the Binom AI platform will keep your work safe, but will switch the account to limited functionality mode. According to our sources, the following changes take place:

1. Data and settings are preserved

  • Data is not deleted: All materials you have created, uploaded documents, knowledge cards, price lists and settings of AI employees are saved in the system.
  • "Unavailable" status: Your knowledge base and specialized roles are temporarily switched to unavailable for use status. This means AI employees will not be able to use the paid knowledge base to answer questions until the subscription is renewed.

2. Switch to the Free plan

The system automatically moves your account to the free plan (Free). During this period, the limits of this plan take effect:

  • Number of employees: Only one Binom will remain available.
  • Role: The AI employee will only be able to work in the basic "Consultant" role (sales, HR, and technical support functions will be blocked).
  • Limits: Only 250 requests (responses) per month will be available, along with a knowledge base of up to 30 MB in text format.
  • Communication channels: Binom will be available only through the public web page. Integrations with messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp), website widgets and telephony will be suspended.

3. Team access

Because the Free plan includes 0 team seats, employees you have invited (administrators, editors, operators) will lose access to the workspace. They will not be able to log in to the account or work with Binoms under your subscription until the owner status is changed to a paid plan.

4. Restoring work

As soon as you pay for the subscription again (any paid package):

  • Instant activation: All data, roles and accumulated knowledge base immediately return to active mode.
  • Seamless transition: You will not need to set up your employees again. They will continue working from where they left off before the payment was paused.

Recommendation: If you plan to pause payment, make sure critical processes (for example, accepting requests via Telegram or telephony) are taken over by live managers, because these channels will stop working immediately after the switch to the Free plan.

Current Prices

Prices, limits, and plan composition may change. Up-to-date terms are always listed on the Binom AI pricing page.

What Happens When the Subscription Ends

  • The dashboard and data remain accessible: you can log in and see all documents, cards, price lists, and settings.
  • The account moves to the free plan: integrations not included in it are disabled, namely messengers, the widget, and telephony.
  • Only the public page works: Binom answers there as a consultant for as long as free plan requests remain. The request limit is listed on the pricing page.
  • When requests run out, the chat on the public page tells the client that the consultant is currently unavailable to answer.

The dashboard shows "Subscription inactive" in this case. If clients aren't getting replies, see the bot has stopped replying to clients.
