How to connect Welcome to the Jungle to Binom: job openings, candidates with documents, and comments. Available on request.
Integrating Welcome to the Jungle with Binom supports your recruiting: your AI employee shares the company's job openings, creates a candidate, attaches documents, and leaves a comment. Welcome to the Jungle is available on request in your Binom account: Integrations → More integrations → Welcome to the Jungle.
What Binom can do in Welcome to the Jungle
Here, Binom means your AI employee. After you connect Welcome to the Jungle, it calls the service's actions when the conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. In the account, each action is labeled: read (Binom only views data), write or delete (Binom changes or deletes data in Welcome to the Jungle).
| Section | What Binom can view | What Binom can change |
|---|---|---|
| Jobs | Job openings, allowed field values | Create, edit, publish, and archive |
| Candidates | Candidates, correspondence, documents, stage changes | Create, edit, comment, letter, documents |
| Company | Organizations, offices, departments, media | Create and edit offices and departments |
Can a chatbot add a candidate to Welcome to the Jungle?
Yes. Binom shares job openings ("List Jobs"), creates a candidate for the right job opening ("Create Candidate"), and attaches documents ("Attach Documents").
Comment for the recruiter
Binom leaves a comment with the essence of the conversation ("Create Comment").
What access you will need
Connection method: API token. Welcome to the Jungle support issues the token, and permissions are set at issuance. Details for each method are shown in the "Authentication" block on the Welcome to the Jungle page in your account.
How to get the Welcome to the Jungle integration
Welcome to the Jungle is connected on request: first, the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. General catalog rules are described in the guide how to connect a service from "More integrations".
- Open Integrations → More integrations, enter "Welcome to the Jungle" in the "Search integrations" field, and open the Welcome to the Jungle card.
- On the page "Welcome to the Jungle Integration for the assistant" you will see the message "Integration is available on request. Request it now, and we will set it up for you as a priority." The assistant here is your Binom. The "Authentication" block shows which access you will need, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in Welcome to the Jungle.
- Click "Request integration". The message "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration is available." appears, and the button changes to "Requested".
- A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button will appear on the Welcome to the Jungle page.
- Click "Connect", go through the steps in the "Connect Welcome to the Jungle" window, and click "Done". After "Connecting…", the status changes to "Connected". If the message "Confirmation hasn't arrived yet. The connection may still complete, so check again in a minute." appears, click "Check again".
How to choose what Binom can do in Welcome to the Jungle
A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. The account states this clearly: "Select the actions the assistant can call. Until something is selected, it has no access to any action."
- On the Welcome to the Jungle page, check the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected.
- Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before a write or delete action, Binom describes what it plans to do and waits for your response.
- Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms the changes.
To start, "List Jobs", "Get Job", "Create Candidate", and "Create Comment" are enough. Add write and delete actions when you are ready to let Binom make changes in Welcome to the Jungle.
How to check that the integration works
- Start a new conversation with your Binom, for example through a public chat link, ask about open job openings, and compare the answers with Welcome to the Jungle.
