Short answer

How to connect BreezyHR to Binom: job openings, candidates, questionnaires and recruiter notes. Available on request.

The BreezyHR integration with Binom supports recruiting: your AI employee presents job openings, creates a candidate, sends them a questionnaire and leaves a note for the recruiter. BreezyHR is available on request in your Binom account: Integrations → More integrations → BreezyHR.

What Binom can do in BreezyHR

Binom here means your AI employee. Once BreezyHR is connected, it calls the service's actions when the conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. In the account, each action is labeled: read (Binom only views data), write or delete (Binom changes or deletes data in BreezyHR).

Section What Binom can view What Binom can change
Job openings Job openings, team, activity Create, edit, change status
Candidates Candidates, search by email, resumes, correspondence, ratings Create, edit, stage, note, message, questionnaire
Questionnaires and templates Questionnaires, email templates Send questionnaire, responses
Pipelines Hiring pipelines No

Can a chatbot add a candidate to BreezyHR?

Yes. Binom shows job openings ("List All Positions"), checks whether the candidate already exists ("Search Candidates By Email"), and creates them ("Create Candidate").

Questionnaire and note

Binom sends the candidate a questionnaire ("Send Questionnaire To Candidate") and leaves a note for the recruiter ("Add Note To Candidate Stream").

What access you will need

Connection method: login and password (Basic Auth). You will need the email and password of a BreezyHR administrator. Details for each method are shown in the "Authentication" block on the BreezyHR page in your account.

How to get the BreezyHR integration

BreezyHR is connected on request: first, the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. The general catalog rules are described in the instructions on how to connect a service from "More integrations".

  1. Open Integrations → More integrations, type "BreezyHR" in the "Search integrations" field, and open the BreezyHR card.
  2. The "BreezyHR integration for assistant" page will show the message "The integration is available on request. Request it now, and we will set it up for you as a priority." The assistant here is your Binom. The "Authentication" block shows which access you will need, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in BreezyHR.
  3. Click "Request integration". "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration is available." will appear, and the button will change to "Requested".
  4. A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button will appear on the BreezyHR page.
  5. Click "Connect", go through the steps in the "Connect BreezyHR" window, and click "Done". After "Connecting…", the status will change to "Connected". If "Confirmation hasn't arrived yet. The connection may still finish, so check again in a minute." appears, click "Check again".

How to choose what Binom can do in BreezyHR

A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. The account states this directly: "Select the actions the assistant can call. Until something is selected, it has no access to anything."

  1. On the BreezyHR page, tick the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected.
  2. Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before a write or delete action, Binom will describe what it intends to do and wait for your response.
  3. Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms the changes.

To start, "List All Positions", "Search Candidates By Email", "Create Candidate" and "Add Note To Candidate Stream" are enough. Add change and delete actions when you are ready to trust Binom with changes in BreezyHR.

How to check that the integration works

  • Start a new conversation with your Binom, for example through a public chat link, submit a test application, and check the candidate in BreezyHR.

Possible problems

Binom does not use BreezyHR data in its answers

What to check: the BreezyHR status is "Connected", and the needed actions are selected (for example "Search Candidates By Email").
What to do: select the actions and click "Save".
How to tell it is fixed: "Allowed actions saved" appears, and in a new conversation Binom answers using BreezyHR data.

"Could not submit the request. Please try again."

What to do: click "Request integration" again. If the message repeats, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom and the integration (BreezyHR).
How to tell it is fixed: "Requested" appears on the button.

"The integration is temporarily unavailable. Your request has been saved."

Nothing else is needed: the request is saved, and you will receive a notification when BreezyHR can be connected.

"Reconnection required"

What this means: "The service no longer accepts saved access, so the assistant is not using it."
What to do: open the BreezyHR page under More integrations, click "Reconnect", and go through the connection window again.
How to tell it is fixed: the status is "Connected".

"Could not start the connection. Please try again."

What to do: click "Connect" again. If the message repeats, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom, the integration (BreezyHR) and a screenshot of the message.
How to tell it is fixed: the "Connect BreezyHR" window opens.

"On a paid plan" instead of the connect button

The page will show "Available on a paid plan. Tell us what you need, and we will let you know when it launches." For what is included in each plan, see the plans and subscription pricing page. For how to change your plan, see the instructions on how to change or upgrade your plan. After changing your plan, return to More integrations and open BreezyHR again.

"You do not have permission to manage this section."

What this means: only users with the Owner or Admin access level can manage integrations.
What to do: ask the account owner to give you the Admin access level or to connect BreezyHR themselves. More details: team access levels.
How to tell it is fixed: after refreshing the page, the integration settings open.

If the problem is not solved, write to support@binomai.com or send "I want to talk to a person" in the Tutor chat. Include the name of your Binom, the integration and a screenshot of the message.

How to disconnect BreezyHR

On the BreezyHR page, click "Disconnect". The "Disconnect BreezyHR?" window will show a warning: "The assistant will lose access to the service. To restore it, you will need to connect the integration again and re-enter the access details." Confirm, and "Integration disconnected" will appear.

Other common questions

Do I need a developer for the BreezyHR integration?

No. You request BreezyHR in the Integrations → More integrations section, the Binom team sets up the integration, and then you connect the account yourself and choose the actions.
