How to connect Cin7 Core to Binom: stock by warehouse, customer orders, order status and invoices. Available on request.
The Cin7 Core integration with Binom connects the chat to your warehouse and orders: the AI employee reports stock levels by warehouse, creates a customer order and tells its status, and issues an invoice. Cin7 Core is available on request in the Binom dashboard: Integrations → More integrations → Cin7 Core.
What Binom can do in Cin7 Core
Binom here means your AI employee. After Cin7 Core is connected, it calls the service's actions when the conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. In the dashboard, each action is marked: read (Binom only views data), write or delete (Binom changes or deletes data in Cin7 Core).
| Section | What Binom can view | What Binom can change |
|---|---|---|
| Products and stock | Products, variants, stock levels by warehouse | Create and update |
| Sales | Sales, orders, shipments, invoices, payments | Create a sale, order and invoice, record payment |
| Purchasing | Purchases, supplier invoices, payments | Create and update |
| Warehouse | Adjustments, transfers, stock counts | Adjust and transfer |
| Customers and suppliers | Customers, suppliers | Create and update |
Can the chatbot check product stock in Cin7 Core?
Yes. Binom checks available stock by warehouse ("List Product Availability") and gives the customer an accurate answer.
Customer order from a conversation
Binom finds the customer ("List Customers"), creates a sale ("Create Sale") and later reports its status ("Get Sale").
What access you will need
Connection method: API key. You will need the Account ID and the API Application Key from the API settings page in Cin7 Core. Details for each method are shown in the "Authentication" block on the Cin7 Core page in the dashboard.
How to get the Cin7 Core integration
Cin7 Core is connected on request: first the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. General catalog rules are described in the instructions how to connect a service from "More integrations".
- Open Integrations → More integrations, enter "Cin7 Core" in the "Search integrations" field and open the Cin7 Core card.
- The "Cin7 Core integration for assistant" page will show the message "Integration is available on request. Request it now, and we will set it up for you as a priority." Here, the assistant is your Binom. The "Authentication" block shows which access you will need, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in Cin7 Core.
- Click "Request integration". The message "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration is available." will appear, and the button will change to "Requested".
- A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button will appear on the Cin7 Core page.
- Click "Connect", go through the steps in the "Connecting Cin7 Core" window and click "Done". After "Connecting…", the status will change to "Connected". If the message "Confirmation has not arrived yet. The connection may still complete, so check again in a minute." appears, click "Check again".
How to choose what Binom can do in Cin7 Core
A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. The dashboard states this directly: "Select the actions the assistant can call. Until something is selected, it has no access to anything."
- On the Cin7 Core page, tick the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter by actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected.
- Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before any action that writes or deletes a record, Binom will describe what it intends to do and wait for your confirmation.
- Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms the changes.
To get started, "List Products", "List Product Availability", "Create Sale" and "Get Sale" are enough. Add the actions that change and delete records when you are ready to let Binom make changes in Cin7 Core.
How to check that the integration works
- Start a new conversation with your Binom, for example through the public chat link, ask about product availability, and compare the answer with Cin7 Core.
