How to connect Taleez to Binom: job listings, applications with job questions, spontaneous applications. Available on request.
The Taleez integration with Binom accepts applications right inside the conversation: your AI employee tells candidates about open positions, asks the job questions, and submits an application. If there is no suitable position, it creates a spontaneous application. Taleez is available on request in your Binom account: Integrations → More integrations → Taleez.
What Binom can do in Taleez
Here, Binom means your AI employee. After you connect Taleez, it calls the service's actions when the conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. In the account, each action is marked: read (Binom only views data), write or delete (Binom changes or deletes data in Taleez).
| Section | What Binom can view | What Binom can change |
|---|---|---|
| Jobs | Jobs, stages, questions | Adding candidates |
| Applications | Candidate applications | Application to a job, spontaneous application |
| Candidates | Candidates, documents, events | Creating, editing, documents |
| Talent pool | Pools | Adding candidates |
Can the chatbot submit an application in Taleez?
Yes. Binom tells candidates about open positions ("List Jobs"), asks the job questions ("Get Job Questions"), and submits an application ("Create Job Application").
If there is no suitable position
Binom asks the questions of the spontaneous application form ("Get Spontaneous Questions") and submits a spontaneous application ("Create Spontaneous Application").
What access you will need
Connection method: secret key. The secret key is created in your Taleez settings, in the API integrations section. Details for each method are shown in the "Authentication" block on the Taleez page in your account.
How to get the Taleez integration
Taleez is connected on request: first, the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. The general catalog rules are described in the guide how to connect a service from "More integrations".
- Open Integrations → More integrations, enter "Taleez" in the "Search integrations" field, and open the Taleez card.
- The "Taleez integration for assistant" page will show the message "Integration is available on request. Request it now, and we will set it up for you as a priority." The assistant here is your Binom. The "Authentication" block shows which access you will need, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in Taleez.
- Click "Request integration". The message "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration is available." will appear, and the button will change to "Requested".
- A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button will appear on the Taleez page.
- Click "Connect," go through the steps in the "Connect Taleez" window, and click "Done." After "Connecting…", the status will change to "Connected." If the message "Confirmation has not arrived yet. The connection may still complete, so check again in a minute." appears, click "Check again".
How to choose what Binom can do in Taleez
A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. The account states this clearly: "Select the actions the assistant can call. Until something is selected, it cannot use any of them."
- On the Taleez page, check the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected.
- Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before a write or delete action, Binom will describe what it plans to do and wait for your reply.
- Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms the changes.
To get started, "List Jobs", "Get Job Questions", "Create Job Application", and "Create Spontaneous Application" are enough. Add write and delete actions when you are ready to trust Binom with changes in Taleez.
How to check that the integration works
- Start a new conversation with your Binom, for example through a public chat link, submit a test application, and check it in Taleez.
Possible problems
Binom does not use Taleez data in its answers
What to check: the Taleez status is "Connected," and the needed actions are selected (for example "Get Job Questions").
What to do: select the actions and click "Save".
How to tell it is resolved: the message "Allowed actions saved" appears, and in a new conversation Binom answers using Taleez data.
"Could not record the request. Please try again."
What to do: click "Request integration" again. If the message keeps appearing, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom and the integration (Taleez).
How to tell it is resolved: the button shows "Requested."
"Integration is temporarily unavailable. Your request has been recorded."
You do not need to do anything else: your request is saved, and you will receive a notification when Taleez can be connected.
"Reconnection required"
What it means: "The service no longer accepts the saved access, so the assistant is not using it."
What to do: open the Taleez page in More integrations, click "Reconnect," and go through the connection window again.
How to tell it is resolved: the status is "Connected."
"Could not start the connection. Please try again."

"On a paid plan" instead of the connect button
The page will show "Available on a paid plan. Tell us what you need, and we will let you know when it launches." For what is included in each plan, see the plans and subscription pricing page. For how to change your plan, see the guide how to change or upgrade your plan. After changing your plan, return to More integrations and open Taleez again.
"You do not have permission to manage this section."
What it means: only users with the Owner or Admin access level can manage integrations.
What to do: ask the account owner to give you the Admin access level or to connect Taleez yourself. More details: access levels in a team.
How to tell it is resolved: after refreshing the page, the integration settings open.
If the problem is not resolved, write to support@binomai.com or send "I want to talk to a person" in the chat with Binom Tutor. Include the name of your Binom, the integration, and a screenshot of the message.
How to disconnect Taleez
On the Taleez page, click "Disconnect". The "Disconnect Taleez?" window will show a warning: "The assistant will lose access to the service. To restore it, you will have to connect the integration again and enter the access details again." Confirm, and the message "Integration disconnected" will appear.
