How to Connect a Service to a Chatbot and Limit Assistant Actions in Binom: “More Integrations”
The "More integrations" catalog in Binom connects the assistant to hundreds of services: CRM systems, task trackers, email, and more. You choose which actions the assistant is allowed to take and whether it asks for confirmation before changing data. The catalog is in the "Integrations" section.
How to connect a service
- Open Integrations → "More integrations".
- Find a service using "Search integrations" or by category.
- Click "Connect" and complete the service's authorization. While the provider confirms, you will see "Waiting for the provider to confirm the connection…".
- The status will change to "Connected".
If confirmation is delayed, you will see "Confirmation has not arrived yet…". Click "Check again" after a minute.
How to limit the assistant's actions
- On the integration page, in the "Actions" block, select the actions the assistant may perform: "Select the actions the assistant can perform. Until you select something, it has access to none of them."
- Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" will appear.
- Turn on "Ask before changing data": before writing or deleting anything, the assistant will describe the action and wait for your response.
If the service you need is not available
Click "Request integration". You will see "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration becomes available". Some integrations are connected on request, and they will be set up in priority order. The label "Available on paid plan" means a paid subscription is required: plans and pricing.
Possible issues
"Reconnection required"
The service no longer accepts saved access. Click "Reconnect" and authorize again.
"Failed to load the connector catalog."
Click "Retry".
How to disconnect a service
Click "Disconnect" and confirm. The assistant will lose access. You can restore it by connecting the integration again.
