How to Describe Your Company for AI: Filling In the Business Profile in Binom
The business profile in Binom is the company description for the AI: name, logo, business description, contacts, and how Binom presents itself to customers. Based on this information, the AI employee talks about the company and acts on its behalf. The profile is filled in the "Business Profile" section of the cabinet.
Where to find the business profile
Open Business Profile in the left menu of the cabinet. At the top you will see "Profile completion", a hint showing how many sections are still empty.
How to describe the company for the AI: profile fields
| Field | What to enter | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| "Binom name" | The name under which the AI employee introduces itself to customers | up to 100 characters |
| "Company logo" | The main logo of the workspace – the "Change company logo" button | PNG or JPG, minimum 128×128, up to 1 MB |

Profile for customers
This section contains what the customer sees:
- Public chat logo – "Displayed in the public chat instead of the main company logo".
- Contact email – "The address for contacting the company and receiving notifications about new inquiries".
- First message – "The first message the customer sees when opening the chat".
- "Contact person and working hours" – helps present the operator correctly and take working hours into account when communicating with customers.
How to describe the business so the AI answers accurately
- In the "Business description", be specific: what you sell, in which region, to whom, and the main terms. General phrases such as "best quality" will not help the AI at all.
- Details such as regulations, price lists, and instructions do not fit within 500 characters: upload them to Documents (knowledge base for the chatbot).
- Exact facts that must be stated word for word should be secured with knowledge cards.
- Much about the company can be told to Tutor in a dialogue – what information to pass to Binom Tutor.
How to check the result
Save the profile and open a new dialogue with Binom: ask "Who are you?" and "How can I contact you?" – the answer should match the profile. If the section is missing or the fields cannot be edited, your access level is "Viewer": ask the owner to raise it – team access levels.
If your question is not resolved, write to support@binomai.com or write "I want to talk to a person" in the Tutor chat. Provide the account email, the Binom name, and attach a screenshot.
