Microsoft OneDrive is available on request in the Binom dashboard: Integrations → More integrations → Microsoft OneDrive. ## What Binom can do in Microsoft OneDrive Here, Binom means your AI employee. After you connect Microsoft OneDrive, it calls the service's actions when the conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. Yes. Binom finds the document you need, such as a price list or presentation ("Search Drive Items"), and sends the customer a view link ("Create Sharing Link"). ## Current version Binom retrieves the file data ("Get Drive Item") so it sends the latest version, not an outdated copy. ## What access you will need Connection method: sign-in via OAuth 2.0 (you sign in to your service account and confirm access). You will need an app registered in Microsoft Entra ID. Details for each method are shown in the "Authentication" section on the Microsoft OneDrive page in the dashboard. ## How to get the Microsoft OneDrive integration Microsoft OneDrive is connected on request: first, the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. Open [Integrations → More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), enter "Microsoft OneDrive" in the "Search integrations" field, and open the Microsoft OneDrive card. 2. The "Microsoft OneDrive integration for assistant" page will show the message "Integration is available on request. Request it now, and we will set it up for you as a priority." Assistant here means your Binom. The "Authentication" section shows what access you will need, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in Microsoft OneDrive. 3. Click "Request integration". "Request sent. You will get a notification when the integration is available." will appear, and the button will change to "Requested". 4. A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button will appear on the Microsoft OneDrive page. 5. Click "Connect", go through the steps in the "Connect Microsoft OneDrive" window, and click "Done". After "Connecting...", the status will change to "Connected". If you see "Confirmation has not arrived yet. The connection may still complete, so check again in a minute.", click "Check again". ## How to choose what Binom can do in Microsoft OneDrive A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. The dashboard states this clearly: "Select the actions the assistant can call. Until something is selected, the assistant has no access to any action." 1. On the Microsoft OneDrive page, check the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected. 2. Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before a write or delete action, Binom will describe what it intends to do and wait for your reply. 3. Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms your changes. To start, "Search Drive Items", "Get Drive Item" and "Create Sharing Link" are enough. Add change and delete actions when you are ready to trust Binom with changes in Microsoft OneDrive. ## How to check that the integration works - Start a new chat with your Binom, for example through a [public chat link](https://binomai.com/faq/public-chat-link/), ask it to send a test file, and check the link. ## Possible issues ### Binom does not use Microsoft OneDrive data in its answers **What to check:** the Microsoft OneDrive status is "Connected", and the needed actions are selected (for example "Get Drive Item"). **What to do:** select the actions and click "Save". **How to tell it is fixed:** "Allowed actions saved" appears, and in a new chat Binom answers using Microsoft OneDrive data. ### "Could not record the request. Please try again." **What to do:** click "Request integration" again. If the message repeats, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom and the integration (Microsoft OneDrive). **How to tell it is fixed:** the button shows "Requested". ### "Integration is temporarily unavailable. Your request has been recorded." You do not need to do anything else: your request is saved, and you will get a notification when Microsoft OneDrive can be connected. ### "Reconnect required" **What it means:** "The service no longer accepts saved access, so the assistant is not using it." **What to do:** open the Microsoft OneDrive page in [More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), click "Reconnect", and go through the connection window again. **How to tell it is fixed:** the status is "Connected". ### "Could not start the connection. Please try again." **What to do:** click "Connect" again. If the message repeats, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom, the integration (Microsoft OneDrive), and a screenshot of the message. **How to tell it is fixed:** the "Connect Microsoft OneDrive" window opens. ### "Paid plan" instead of the connect button The page will show "Available on a paid plan. Tell us what you need, and we will notify you about the launch." After changing your plan, return to [More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14) and open Microsoft OneDrive again. ### "You do not have permission to manage this section." **What it means:** only users with the Owner or Admin access level can manage integrations. **What to do:** ask the account owner to give you the Admin access level, or to connect Microsoft OneDrive themselves. Include the name of your Binom and the integration, and attach a screenshot of the message. ## How to disconnect Microsoft OneDrive On the Microsoft OneDrive page, click "Disconnect". The "Disconnect Microsoft OneDrive?" window will show a warning: "The assistant will lose access to the service. To restore it, you will need to connect the integration again and re-enter the access details." Confirm, and "Integration disconnected" will appear. ## Frequently asked questions ### Will the customer get access to the whole folder? No. The link is created for a specific file. Allow Binom only the folders it needs, and keep action confirmation turned on. ### Do I need a developer for the Microsoft OneDrive integration?
