# Brevo Integration: Emails, WhatsApp and Contacts from Conversations - Brevo in Binom

*Updated: 21.10.2026, 12:50 UTC*

Brevo integration with Binom links your conversations with your email campaigns: the AI employee creates a contact, sends the client an email based on a template, and sends a WhatsApp message via Brevo. The client immediately receives a confirmation or materials, and the contact lands in your Brevo database. Brevo is available on request in the Binom dashboard: Integrations → More integrations → Brevo.

## What Binom can do in Brevo

Binom here refers to your AI employee. After Brevo is connected, it calls the service's actions when a conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. In the dashboard, each action is labeled: **read** (Binom only views data), **write** or **delete** (Binom changes or deletes data in Brevo).

| Section | What Binom can view | What Binom can change |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Contacts | A contact by email or ID | Create, update, delete a contact |
| Lists | None | Create a list |
| Emails | Transactional email templates | Send a transactional email, create and edit templates |
| Campaigns | None | Create an email campaign |
| WhatsApp | None | Send a transactional message, create and send a WhatsApp campaign |

## Email to the client after a conversation

Yes. Using the "Send Transactional Email" action, Binom sends the client an email, for example with a confirmation or materials from the conversation. It is convenient to keep email texts in Brevo templates: Binom can see the list of templates ("Get The List Of Email Templates").

## Contacts from chat in your Brevo database

Binom checks whether a contact exists ("Get Contact"), and creates a new one ("Create Contact") or updates an existing one ("Update Contact"). This way, clients from chats end up in your database without manual exports.

## WhatsApp message via Brevo

Yes, using the "Send WhatsApp Message" action for transactional messages. This is an outgoing message to the client. If you want Binom to receive and handle conversations in WhatsApp, connect the channel: [how to connect an AI employee to messengers](https://binomai.com/faq/kak-podklyuchit-ii-sotrudnika-k-telegram-whatsapp-instagram-i-facebook/).

## How to get the Brevo integration

Brevo is available on request: first, the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. The general catalog rules are described in the guide [how to connect a service from "More integrations"](https://binomai.com/faq/connect-service-to-chatbot/).

1. Open [Integrations → More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), enter "Brevo" in the "Search integrations" field, and open the Brevo card.
2. The "Brevo integration for assistant" page shows the message "Integration is available on request. Request it now, and we will set it up for you on a priority basis." Assistant here means your Binom. The "Authentication" block shows what access will be needed, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in Brevo.
3. Click "Request integration". The message "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration is available." appears, and the button changes to "Requested".
4. A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button appears on the Brevo page.
5. Click "Connect", go through the steps in the "Connecting Brevo" window, and click "Done". After "Connecting...", the status changes to "Connected". If the message "Confirmation has not arrived yet. The connection may still complete, so check again in a minute." appears, click "Check again".

## How to choose what Binom can do in Brevo

A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. The dashboard states this directly: "Tick the actions that the assistant may trigger. Until something is ticked, it has no access to any of them."

1. On the Brevo page, tick the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected.
2. Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before any write or delete action, Binom will describe what it intends to do and wait for your reply.
3. Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms your changes.

To start, "Get Contact", "Create Contact" and "Send Transactional Email" are enough. Add update and delete actions when you are ready to let Binom make changes in Brevo.

## How to check that the integration works

- Start a new conversation with your Binom, for example through the [public chat link](https://binomai.com/faq/public-chat-link/), leave a test email address, and ask it to send you materials. Then check the email and the contact in Brevo.
- Delete the test contact after checking.

## Possible issues

### Binom does not use Brevo data in its answers

**What to check:** that the Brevo status is "Connected" and that the needed actions are ticked (for example, "Send Transactional Email").
**What to do:** tick the actions and click "Save".
**How to tell it is resolved:** the message "Allowed actions saved" appears, and in a new conversation Binom answers using Brevo data.

### "Could not save the request. Please try again."

**What to do:** click "Request integration" again. If the message keeps appearing, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom and the integration (Brevo).
**How to tell it is resolved:** the button shows "Requested".

### "Integration temporarily unavailable - your request has been recorded."

Nothing else is needed: the request is saved, and you will receive a notification when Brevo can be connected.

### "Reconnect required"

**What this means:** "The service no longer accepts saved access, so the assistant does not use it."
**What to do:** open the Brevo page under [More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), click "Reconnect", and go through the connection window again.
**How to tell it is resolved:** the status shows "Connected".

### "Could not start the connection. Please try again."

**What to do:** click "Connect" again. If the message keeps appearing, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom, the integration (Brevo), and a screenshot of the message.
**How to tell it is resolved:** the "Connect Brevo" window opens.

### "Available on a paid plan" instead of the connect button

The page will show "Available on a paid plan. Tell us what you need, and we will let you know when it launches." For what each plan includes, see the [subscription plans and pricing](https://app.binomai.com/plans) page. For how to switch plans, see the guide [how to change or upgrade your plan](https://binomai.com/faq/change-subscription-plan/). After changing your plan, return to [More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14) and open Brevo again.

### "You do not have permission to manage this section."

**What this means:** only users with the Owner or Admin access level can manage integrations.
**What to do:** ask the account owner to give you the Admin access level or to connect Brevo yourself. More: [team access levels](https://binomai.com/faq/kak-raspredelit-obyazannosti-v-komande-s-pomoshhyu-pyati-urovnej-dostupa-owner-admin-editor-operator-viewer/).
**How to tell it's resolved:** after you refresh the page, the integration settings open.

If the problem persists, write to support@binomai.com or send "I want to talk to a human" in the chat with [Binom Tutor](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/binom-tutor-stream). Include the name of your Binom, the integration, and attach a screenshot of the message.

## How to disconnect Brevo

On the Brevo page, click "Disable". The "Disable Brevo?" window will show a warning: "The assistant will lose access to the service. To restore it, you will need to reconnect the integration and enter the credentials again." Confirm, and "Integration disabled" will appear.

## Other common questions

### Do I need a developer to integrate Brevo?

No. You request Brevo in [Integrations → More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), the Binom team sets up the integration, and then you connect the account yourself and choose the actions.
