BreatheHR is available on request in your Binom account: Integrations → More integrations → BreatheHR. ## What Binom can do in BreatheHR Binom here means your AI employee. After you connect BreatheHR, it calls the service's actions when a conversation needs that data. You decide which actions it can use. Yes. Binom finds the employee ("List Employees"), checks the balance for the leave year ("List Employee Holiday Years"), and creates a request ("Create Employee Leave Request"). ## Sick days An employee reports being unwell, and Binom records a sick day ("Create Employee Sickness"). ## What access you need Connection method: API key. You need BreatheHR administrator rights. Details for each method are shown in the "Authentication" block on the BreatheHR page in your account. ## How to get the BreatheHR integration BreatheHR is connected on request: first, the Binom team sets up the integration for your account. Open [Integrations → More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), enter "BreatheHR" in the "Search integrations" field, and open the BreatheHR card. 2. On the "BreatheHR integration for assistant" page, you will see the message "Integration available on request. Request it now and we will set it up for you as a priority." Assistant here means your Binom. The "Authentication" block shows which access you need, and the "Actions" list shows everything Binom can do in BreatheHR. 3. Click "Request integration". The message "Request sent. You will receive a notification when the integration is available" appears, and the button changes to "Requested". 4. A Binom setup specialist will contact you. When the integration is ready, a "Connect" button appears on the BreatheHR page. 5. Click "Connect", go through the steps in the "Connect BreatheHR" window, and click "Done". After "Connecting...", the status changes to "Connected". If you see "Confirmation has not arrived yet. The connection may still complete, so check again in a minute.", click "Check again". ## How to choose what Binom can do in BreatheHR A connected integration does nothing until you allow actions. Your account states this clearly: "Select the actions the assistant can call. Until something is selected, it cannot use any action." 1. On the BreatheHR page, tick the actions you need in the "Actions" list. The "Filter actions" field helps you find them by name. The counter shows how many are selected. 2. Check the "Ask before changing data" toggle. It is on by default: before a write or delete action, Binom describes what it plans to do and waits for your reply. 3. Click "Save". The message "Allowed actions saved" confirms your changes. To start, "List Employees", "List Employee Holiday Years", "Create Employee Leave Request", and "Create Employee Sickness" are enough. Add edit and delete actions when you are ready to let Binom change data in BreatheHR. ## How to check that the integration works - Start a new conversation with your Binom, for example through a [public chat link](https://binomai.com/faq/public-chat-link/), ask about your leave balance, and compare it with BreatheHR. ## Possible problems ### Binom does not use BreatheHR data in its answers **What to check:** the BreatheHR status is "Connected", and the needed actions are selected (for example "List Employee Holiday Years"). **What to do:** select the actions and click "Save". **How to tell it is solved:** the message "Allowed actions saved" appears, and in a new conversation Binom answers using BreatheHR data. ### "Could not record the request. Please try again." **What to do:** click "Request integration" again. If the message repeats, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom and the integration (BreatheHR). **How to tell it is solved:** the button shows "Requested". ### "Integration temporarily unavailable. Your request has been saved." You do not need to do anything else: the request is saved, and you will receive a notification when BreatheHR can be connected. ### "Reconnect required" **What it means:** "The service no longer accepts the saved access, so the assistant does not use it." **What to do:** open the BreatheHR page in [More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14), click "Reconnect", and go through the connection window again. **How to tell it is solved:** the status is "Connected". ### "Could not start the connection. Please try again." **What to do:** click "Connect" again. If the message repeats, write to support@binomai.com with the name of your Binom, the integration (BreatheHR), and a screenshot of the message. **How to tell it is solved:** the "Connect BreatheHR" window opens. ### "On a paid plan" instead of the connect button The page will show "Available on a paid plan. After changing your plan, return to [More integrations](https://app.binomai.com/cabinet/binom/integrations?tab=14) and open BreatheHR again. ### "You do not have permission to manage this section." **What it means:** only users with the Owner or Admin access level can manage integrations. **What to do:** ask the account owner to give you the Admin access level or to connect BreatheHR themselves. Include the name of your Binom, the integration, and a screenshot of the message. ## How to disconnect BreatheHR On the BreatheHR page, click "Disconnect". The "Disconnect BreatheHR?" window shows a warning: "The assistant will lose access to the service. To restore it, you will need to connect the integration again and enter the access details once more." Confirm, and "Integration disconnected" appears. ## Common questions ### Do I need a developer for the BreatheHR integration?
